TO DRINK OR NOT TO DRINK....
Everyone's IBD is different, but some people do report that their IBD symptoms get worse if they drink alcohol (it can irritate the lining of your GI tract, and even cause malabsorption or bleeding). And if you're currently on meds for your IBD, always (ALWAYS!) check with your doctor to make sure it's safe to drink...because some meds are absolutely incompatible.
